St. Maximin

St. Maximin is a hill-top village 4km south-east of Uzès. The chateau dates from the 12th century.

It has two gourmet restaurants and a cafe in the centre of the village. A pizzeria and two wine producers are found on the main road.

A Carrefour supermarket with petrol station is 1km from St. Maximin towards Uzès. This is situated on a small commercial centre with two DIY stores, and shops selling sportswear, vegetables, electrical goods etc.
