Location: On the west side of Uzès, the property is set on a south-facing hillside and has stunning views over surrounding countryside.

Property description:-

Dating from the 16th Century, Mas des Patres is a luxurious farmhouse, set in its own enclosed grounds of 2 hectares. The garden is landscaped over several levels, providing many secluded terraces and vistas. The gardens are fully enclosed and are a safe & fun place for children to play. The house itself has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The internal space is generous and is furnished with French antique furniture.

• Beautifully furnished, spacious sitting room with satelllite TV, VHS and CD player. Open fireplace. Drinks bar with basin & fridge. Library with large selection of books in both French & English. Card table & board games.

• Formal dining room with large table. French windows opening onto the courtyard.
• Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and many extras. Dining area. TV.
• Utility room with washing machine.

  • Master with king-size "bateau-lit" and en-suite shower room. Single sofa-bed.
  • 3 bedrooms with twin beds which may be made up as doubles on request. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room.
  • In the dovecote, bedroom with twin beds which may be made up as doubles on request. Dressing area & en-suite shower room.
• 2 family bathrooms (one on ground floor) with bath with shower over, hand-basin, bidet & toilet.
• Central heating throughout.
• Computer internet connection via WiFi. Telephone (payable at end of stay).
  

• Large courtyard with dining both in and out of the sun. Built-in barbecue.
• Long formal drive with plenty of parking.

• Gardens extending to 2 hectares full of flowers & mature trees. Children's swings. Views over vineyards to the Cevennes mountains.
• Swimming pool (9m x 5m) with spa at one end. The pool is fenced for security and there are plenty of sun-loungers in the generous pool area. 2 large tables for dining. Pool shower.

Household linen, bath & swimming towels included. Cots and additional childs fold-away bed available on request. At your convenience, a cleaner comes for 3 hours per week.

Available all year. Long winter lets welcomed.

Please note that the owners' live in a small cottage next to the big house. They offer you the option of renting the property entirely to yourselves or with them in residence providing a tour guide & catering service. Please specify your preference on booking.
